Patrick Shannon homered in two different Men’s Softball World Championship finals


Patrick Shannon, a two-time world champion with the New Zealand Men’s National Softball Team – Black Sox -, homered in two different Men’s Softball World Championship finals (2004 and 2013), both in the second inning of the game to tie the score and set up New Zealand’s come from behind victories on home soil.
Now, he has been appointed as the battery coach of the Black Sox for next year’s WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup, to be held in Auckland, New Zealand, from 19-27 February 2022.
